WILLESBOROUGH WAR MEMORIAL
The Willesborough War Memorial is to be found in Willesborough Parish Church. The memorial takes the form of a very large brass plaque thats mounted above the organ. The names are in a strange lettering which makes them very hard to read. There is also a memorial book that is kept in the vicarage. This is a book that contains the names of all men who servd and those who died. It contains the list of WW1 only, plus the addition of a man from Willesborough who was killed with the Special Boat Squadron in the Falklands Conflict in 1982.
